Tiffany’s matron of honour had contacted me to surprise Tiffany with an engagement session. Being all the way in Ontario, she wanted to do something nice for Tiffany and contacted me to do the photos!
These two informed me they have never done photos together, but I think they were naturals at it! The session was filled with lots of laughs and it was tons of fun! I enjoyed hearing about their wedding plans and getting to know them!
I wish these two happy wedding planning, and i’m super excited for them!
I love fall weddings! The leaves on the trees for this wedding were just perfect! I’m glad this was the wedding to end my season with!
Aurora and Bryce had a beautiful wedding! I was a little concerned because it had been raining that morning, but it turned out to be a sunny day until the end of photos. The girls dresses were absolutely gorgeous and they all looked beautiful! The wedding party was tones of fun and we even got to hang out with a few cows!
Here are some of my favs from this country wedding!
Savanaha and Daniel were my first wedding this summer and the first wedding since I had my baby girl. I must say having a new baby sure keeps me busy and takes a lot out of me, but it is sure worth it!
I did enjoy being able to go out and photograph again! The day was beautiful and Savanaha’s dress was absolutely gorgeous! They had their ceremony inside the golf course here in Whitecourt and it was stunning. We then travelled to Carson for some photos and then to a train bridge before finishing their night out at the Westward for their reception.
The wedding party was a blast to work with, there was not one moment where anyone wasn’t smiling! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding!
Skyler and Dion were my first wedding of the year and I must say their wedding started my wedding season off with a bang! I met these two last year when we did their engagement photos in Jasper, such a beautiful location! I was super excited that they were having a winter wedding and it turned out to be super gorgeous! I know she was hoping to have snow on her wedding and it was promising because the night before it was coming down! But of course the day of their wedding turned into a super sunny and warm day, but she didn’t let that stop her from having the wedding of her dreams!
The ceremony was beautiful and I myself almost started tearing up while shooting. After the ceremony we headed around to different locations in and around Edson. The wedding party was such a blast to work with and we had some fun with the photos! We even ended up going to this purple graffiti wall that worked so well with her wedding colors and then ended our photos off with playing on a swing set!
Capturing these two throughout the day was such a pleasure and I could see the love they had for each other. I wish for these two to have a happy and wonderful marriage for many years to come!
Enjoy some of the photos from their beautiful wedding!
The beginning of August I got to photograph Kirnella and Randy’s wedding. I went to high school with Kirnella and haven’t seen her since! I was super honoured and surprised when she asked me to photograph her wedding!
I was definitely surprised when I showed up to the rehearsal the night before. The ceremony location was absolutely gorgeous! Her girl’s dresses we stunning and I loved the colors!
Spending the day with Kirnella and Randy was amazing, I could tell how much they loved each other! During the ceremony, her Mom read out this legend and then all the guests released some butterflies! It was probably the neatest thing I have seen! I caught a few snaps of the butterflies 😛
The whole wedding party was amazing and tons of fun to be with. Also super brave for trekking all the way down to the bottom of Hard Luck Canyon! Here are a few of my favorite photos!
I met Lisa a while back at the local bridal fair. She knew what she wanted photographed and where she wanted it done. Her wedding was held in Fort Assiniboine, a small town about an hour away from me. I have never photographed there and was looking forward to something new and broadening my horizons. The moment I pulled up to her ceremony I was amazed. Her seating area for the ceremony was bales of straw covered in burlap and stumps with mason jars of flowers to line the isle. It was so simple but it was beautiful.
After the ceremony, which was held on the grooms Uncle’s land, we hopped in their truck and drove around looking for their cows! I was glad I didn’t have to drive my little car through the area we went to, I didn’t think it would make it! I was a little hesitant to go near the cows because I had never been that close to any and was scared they would come after me 😛 During this whole ordeal we were dealing with grasshoppers!! Those little guys kept crawling up her dress and I felt so bad for her!
Despite dealing with the heat and the grasshoppers, Lisa and Jeff didn’t let a single thing get between them and their special day! It was such a pleasure to be apart of their day and to capture their special moments! Here are some of my favorites!
