Sam Maternity

I had the pleasure of photographing Sam’s maternity photos for a second time!
We had to keep an eye on the weather the whole week because we really haven’t had much of a summer this year! We lucked out and didn’t get rained on at all!

Her son Charles was such a character. At the start of the session he didn’t want much to do with me and was only giving me a grumpy look. After some rock throwing (at me of course), snacks and some crazy sounds I got some beautiful smiles out of him!

It’s been quite sometime since I made my last post. My bad!

Life has been pretty busy with my two kids and trying to balance home life, work and my photography!

Caroline Maternity

I did a search for some pregnant women to do some maternity sessions to build up that part of my portfolio. Caroline was one of the first ladies to contact me and book a session! She told me she was only 25 weeks along but wanted to get some photos of her and her bump now. I thought it was such a cute idea.

This is her and her husbands first baby and I could see the excitement when I met up with her for her session. She had so many ideas and brought a bunch of outfits and things to use during the shoot. It had been a dream of mine to photograph a pregnant women in a gorgeous maternity dress in the winter, and she was brave enough to do so! I must say the photos look amazing with the dress!

Near the end of our shoot, we were surprised by a random dog coming to photobomb her photos! After chasing the dog to get back my reflector, we had got a ton of amazing shots and a bunch of laughs!
